High School Journal

High School Journal

High School Journal was published in 1885 and 1886. It may have been published longer - we don’t know much about it. We do not even know how it was published although we suspect it was printed by the Villisca Review. Our research indicates Thomas Edison invented the mimeograph in 1876, and it probably was not used much until after AB Dick manufactured a modern model in 1887.  Its close cousin, the spirit duplicator (think purple) was invented in 1923.

We have obtained and are posting copies of some articles about the Journal in addition to a few articles which were reprinted in the Review. To read them, click the subpage link, The Journal, immediately below this paragraph.
